Made in Japan, during a three month residency at The Shigaraki Ceramic Cultural Park in 1998.
A response to the surrounding landscape, the impression that every bit of land is cultivated, and the quality and quantity of packaging produced in Japan.
Office waste paper turned into a paper slip was blended with the white clay produced at Shigaraki to hand build this two by three metre work. Situated in the Shigaraki Ceramic Cultural Park.
